Heroes Episode Guide - Season 2 Episode 1

by Erik. J. Michaels

Heroes is without a doubt the best show on TV! Season 1 was amazing and left us absolutely begging for more, and when Season 2 premiered it didn’t disappoint us! Miss it? That’s ok, I’ll give you the rundown!

“Four Months Later” is the episode’s title, and that’s when it all goes down. Dr. Mohinder Suresh is currently touring the country spreading warnings and garnering support for research about a deadly new virus that has arisen, and he is met by a man who identifies himself only as “Bob” and claims to work for The Company…and who has an interesting offer for Suresh.

Claire and her family have just moved to a new town, seeking to stay under the radar and avoid attention, but this quickly becomes more difficult to do when a classmate who’s hiding a secret of his own takes an interest in her.

Matt Parkman and Mohinder Suresh have taken in Molly Parker, who has been having extreme nightmares about the one person who scared her worse than Sylar: the “Nightmare Man.” Matt has more on his mind though, as Kaito Nakamura and Angela Petrelli have both received mysterious death threats.

The Petrelli family in general isn’t doing too well…Nathan has been thrown into a slump due to Peter being missing and presumed dead after they narrowly avoided blowing up NYC last season. Severely depressed, heavy on the bottle, and in bad need of a shave, Nathan’s about the only person convinced that Peter’s alive somewhere. Turns out he’s right…we find out that Peter’s turned up in Ireland handcuffed to the inside of an empty shipping container…and without any idea of his own identity or abilities.

Our pal Hiro is off on his own adventure, in the historic days of Takezo Kensei in 17th century Japan! I’m sure you can imagine the situation, but you’ll be as surprised as Hiro is when you find out the truth about Kensei! I’ll tell you right now, I did NOT see it coming!

We are also introduced to a new pair of characters, Maya and Alejandro. Driven from their home and pursued by the police as murder suspects because of the accidental first release of Maya’s ability to cause a sort of plague in all surrounding people whenever she gets extremely upset, the brother and sister are fleeing to America to try to locate Dr. Suresh in hopes of finding a cure.

So that’s that. This season is certainly going to be eventful, at least if the premiere is any good indicator. There’s a lot going on, and as you probably hoped it hasn’t lost any of its charm and certainly still loves the cliffhanger endings. We’re in for one wild ride!
