Thank God for High Speed Internet
My high speed internet service has become a neccessity in my life. I don’t know how I every did with out my computer either. I used both for my business, for keeping up to date on current affairs and for keep in touch with my friends and family.
It’s safe to say that the majority of us have embraced the age of computers. Life without them at this point looks bleak. Then again, it wasn’t long ago when we first discovered the web and dial-up service. Yikes, I shudder at the thought of those old days.
Do you remember that terrible noise? You know, that screech that you computer would make when it was attempting to connect to the internet via a phone line. It was no picnic when you finally got there either. talk about slow! Thankfully high speed intenet has put those days behind us.
Being slow wasn’t all. You could get disconnected at anytime. This doesn’t happen with cable high speed internet, thankfully. With cable you are always connected.
I’d get kicked off when another member of my household made a phone call. I would also lose the connection if there were too many customers overloading the service
It seems that I was using a very popular dial up internet service, because I would get kicked out many time a day, ususally while doing something important on my computer. It got frustrating having to keep re-writing emails over and over.
I’m am so glad those days are over. With wireless high speed internet hotspots giving us the freedom to get connected anywhere, hard to imagine what more is to come.
High speed internet just keeps getting faster and more available. I love it. Bye bye screeching, hello internet!
