Weddings: Wedding Favors
Planning a wedding can be fun, stressful, but fun at the same time and one of the more interesting aspects is organizing the wedding favors. As a rule of thumb when organizing events, keep things simple as they have a habit of becoming complicated without any human intervention. With this in mind, it should be one less item you have to worry about for your big day because your favors might just be a phone call away.
An easy wedding favor option is flowers which really don’t take much to arrange but guests can enjoy. Fortunately, as far as the bride and groom are concerned, apart from choosing which flowers to have, there is little for them to do.
Many people who choose flowers decide on a single red rose for each guest as a symbol of their love. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.
About 75 percent of people will use candy as it is an easy wedding favor that always pleases which can be simply presented in a box. I like the idea that a number of receptions have started to use where the costly centerpiece is done away with completely. This can be accomplished by using large bowls filled with different types of candy as the centerpieces on each table.
Supplying each wedding guest with a small tin or other presentation container so they can fill it with whatever candy they wish. All you have to do is let each guest have the option to take whatever candy they like and you won’t have anything more to do.
To give your guests something they can keep why not leave a small picture frame on the table. Whilst this is a great idea for a wedding favor gift it is only easy to do if you can present it without having to wrap it. By using the picture frames as placeholders provides a way around this, making it a gift that does not need to be wrapped.
A different but still an easy wedding favor is to supply every guest with a picture of themselves arriving at the wedding reception using the services of a professional photographer armed with a digital camera. It is a simple matter of bringing a printer along so the images can be printed off during the reception and are ready when the guests start to leave. Everyone will appreciate this wedding favor as it is a reminder they can cherish for many years. It would also be nice if the photographer could bring along a digital projector so all the photos he had taken of the guests could then be shown on a screen during the reception meal.
