What I did to create wealth on the Internet!

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
by John Wallen

I remember waking up one mourning, looking in the mirror, thinking there has to be a better way! It was the day before payday and all I could think about was, that once again there wasn’t going to be much left over after paying more bills, and that was going to have to make it to the next check just to get back and forth to work.

I mean, what are you supposed to do when the car breaks down or a major appliance stops working? You have to make it to work, you have to have heat or air conditioning, tires wear out, car insurance has to be paid, house payment or rent. Many of us are going to far in debt and are having a hard time keeping up! Brake job on the car, need a stove, it never seems to end.

Well it probably seemed like I was over whelmed and a good friend of mine took notice. He says to me, I just made a little over seven thousand dollars with an internet company this month, putting in just a few hours a week. It didn’t happen over night, and if I was interested I could sign up for free to take a good look. I was a little skeptical but he has good sense, so why not.

He tells me he just had seven grand deposited directly into his bank account from a internet business he’s been working with the past three month. Now that’s making some quick money, and he tells me it’s not that hard and I should take a look at what he was talking about.

I’ve seen work at home ads before on the internet, but they all seemed like pyramid schemes or some guy on the beach saying he’s making ten thousand a week doing nothing. We’ll anyway, I decided to checkout this website with all the details he was talking about and I have to say I was really amazed. I looked over that site for almost an hour.

So I did just that, and sure enough I was impressed. I even took his advise and signed up for free to get a good look, sat in on a couple of evening training sessions they do live on the internet and started to realize, this was going somewhere. I was impressed and couldn’t wait to become a paid member. With a little more training this could make anyone a lot of money.

Now I know things take a little time, there’s a learning curve to get through. But I couldn’t believe how streamlined everything was going, this is really a turnkey business. It was becoming obvious with all the tools in my back office, that anyone could learn this quickly. In a few months time I was paying off a lot of debt, thanks to a good friend and a little motivation!

Why keep struggling wondering when it’s going to end, when you can take control of your future and learn a skill you will use the rest of your life. It doesn’t get any better than that. We all deserve a chance to prosper. I really don’t know how much better this can actually get, but somehow I know it will!

Benefits of a Home Business: Work at Home for Best of both Worlds

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
by joe cotroneo

There are many benefits to having a home business. Work at home and you get the best of both worlds. You get to work and earn an income while you get to spend more time with your family. But there are more benefits to having a home business. These are the top seven.

Home businesses are simple to set up. Most opportunities require a computer and other equipment you may already own such as a telephone, copier and fax machine. You can find many different types of work at home business opportunities. Work at home can be started immediately most of the time

Typically, a computer is the most costly part of most home business opportunities. Work at home requires that you have access to other people so a computer plays a large role in this. You may wish to use the computer that you already own or purchase a new one solely for business purposes. There is no need to go out and lease office space or buy all kinds of fancy new equipment if you plan to make your home your office. This is very convenient especially if you are on a low budget.

Low Overhead: Because you don’t have the overhead of operating an office that is away from home you have much less overhead to operate a home business. It is cheaper. What’s more, you can work at your home business for far less expense than you would commuting to an office every day.

Tax Breaks: Often you can claim certain things on your taxes and get decent tax breaks because of them when you have a home business. Work at home involves using part of your home so you can often claim a room in your home, your computer and other things on your taxes.

Another great thing about working from home? You will have no boss to answer to! You will be your own boss, set your own hours, work on your own schedule and do so as much or as little as you like. Keep in mind that this does not mean that working from home is like a permanent vacation! You will need to work in order to earn a steady and reliable income.

Still not convinced about home business opportunities? Work at home means that there are no limits to how far you can climb up the company ladder like a regular job. You get to decide your own fate. This means that you can set your own personal goals and work towards them without other people holding you back or not recognizing or compensating you for your efforts. The sky is the limit with a home based business.

More Time with your Family: This is often what is most important to people who have a home business. Work at home moms can spend more time with their families and work at home dads are there more to be with the ones they love. Family can be a distraction, but if you can learn how to manage it, it is very rewarding.

Where the bale wire is used?

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
by Cort Walberg

Bale wire is a sort of wire that was initially used for the purpose of creating bales. In recent times it is used in agriculture as well as in many other places.

Since bale wire was used in agriculture extensively, it was initially called ‘farm wire’. As the application of bale wire changes, it has been called now ’soft wire’. Its ability to mend and fix becomes the main reason to be called soft wire.

Bale wire is used extensively by common men to lead an easy and comfortable life. In the past people used farm wire to make headband and that is how soft wire and flexible wires came into existence keeping in mind the need of the time.

Bale wire is generally made from materials such as iron or steel and packed in rolls or reels. The wide use of bale wire makes its availability almost in all places.

Galvanize bale is a kind of bale wire that has coating of material like zinc. The coating of such material provides wire safeguard against decay, corrosion and rust.

An annealing process of heating the wire and slowly cooling it produces another kind of bale wire known as Annealed bale wire. It is strong and powerful than regular bale wire.

Bale wire is often used in agriculture for making bales of hay. It is used for binding square bales of hay, cut grass or straw. Fences are mended with the help of baling wire, known as chain links, in order to protect the farm. The fence of chin links does not require huge amount because it can be cut easily as per our requirements.

For creating bales of compacted materials like paper or plastic for recycling balers, bale wire is used. Such compacted waste material is bound by baler wire.

Baling wire is used in textile industries also. In such non-agriculture area compact bales of cotton, wool, jute and other materials are created. These compact bales are easily transported.

by Chris Gatenby

Avon is one of the most solid and reputable Multi Level Marketing companies in the world. Avon products sell well and the company is well known and trusted.

Avon has a global reach and generates sales revenues in excess of $8 billion annually in over 144 countries. In existence since 1886, the firm is the largest direct sales company in the world. Avon products include the Avon cosmetics, Avon jewelry and other products targeted at its female customer base.

It is fairly easy to become an Avon representative if you have a little start-up money and the motivation to work the business. The first representatives began in business over 120 years ago and there are some five million of them today. Avon is is recognized as having empowered its female representatives with an income generating opportunity that they could pursue from home without disrupting their family life.

Called “Avon ladies” since the ’50’s, the self-employed beauty consultants may be trained as representatives or as beauty advisors. They can work from home in door-to-door sales territories established near their homes, call on friends, family, or professional associates. This is a direct sales company and sells thru catalogs, and on the internet. Each representative may now post an Avon store website to take and process orders.

Those interested in becoming an Avon representative will need to be at least eighteen years old, have spare time to dedicate to their business, like to meet people and be self starters. The company recommends that you contact any active representative to inquire. You may be referred to a District Manager if the person you first contacted is not a Leadership representative. During your initial encounters you will learn about the company procedures and business opportunity. If you choose to join, you then buy your initial kit which cost about twenty dollars and includes some supplies to get you started on your marketing.

The Avon product line has expanded in recent years to include not only numerous lines of beauty products, but fashion jewelry, accessories and apparel, gifts, candles, and holiday items and features well-recognized brand names such as Anew, Skin-So-Soft, Advance Techniques, and Mark.

Your earnings depend on your sales ability. Repeat customers are the key to steady business while prospecting for new clients. Your business will also grow by introducing other potential representatives to the company and the opportunity it provides. Commissions range from 20-25 percent.

If you are considering Avon because you want to market cosmetics, you might want to look into Mary Kay. If you are open to considering product lines other than cosmetics, I suggest you take a look at Xocai Healthy Chocolate. Their products are actually a health food because they are made from specially processed cocoa with extra antioxidants such as acai berry and without the bad stuff. Healthy chocolate can be an easy sale because most people love it.

Many people considering home businesses hope that the money is just going to flow in because they join a company. Forget that! Avon, and any other business, takes some skill and effort. If you are motivated and disciplined enough to put a plan on paper and follow it, success can be yours.

Mona Vie Juice - Not A Scam, But Is It The Right Biz For You ?

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
by Chris Gatenby

Mona Vie sells a few versions of a nutritional juice product through a multi level marketing system. The products are reported to have the health benefits of antioxidants as well as increasing energy and reducing aches and pains. Successful distributors can earn a good income.

Founded by Dallin Larsen, Mona Vie is based in Salt lake City, Utah. The distributor compensation plan features many different ways to make money including direct sales, bulk order bonus, first order bonus, star maker bonus, binary team commissions and executive and leadership pools. The plan is considered to be both generous and lucrative.

The Mona Vie juice costs $30 to $40 per 25 ounce bottle and the difference between wholesale and retail prices allows for a mark-up of about 15 percent. Bulk purchases qualify for lower pricing and earn bonus points. Obviously, the idea is to incentive volume purchases and reward those who move a large volume of product.

The recommended dosage of the juice in order to achieve the claimed benefits is one to two ounces twice daily. At that rate, a bottle would last about a week. The key ingredient is acai berry, from the Brazilian Amazon. Acai is considered to be a super-food due to high levels of antioxidants. Other fruits are added to created a juice blend which tastes great to some people.

As with many nutritional supplements, one hears claims that Mona Vie can increase your energy level, reduce joint pain and ward off serious medical conditions such as heart disease, hypertension and so on. Mona Vie does not make aggressive disease prevention claims in their literature so such claims are probably the work of over-zealous distributors. The company literature talks about delivering antioxidants, phytonutrients and glucosamine and esterified fatty acids in certain of their products.

Many people in the USA fail to consume the recommended servings of fruit and produce daily. It follows that nutritional supplements can be a benefit when diet does not deliver all the needed nutrients. Attention to detail is important in comparing nutritional products. I noticed that the Mona Vie literature lists relatively few nutrients compared to a multi-vitamin product.

Mona Vie literature shows that the juice provides 20% of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C per serving and 1% and 3% of sodium and total carbohydrates respectively. The ORAC score which is a measure of antioxidants is not shown. Acai berry is the principal ingredient and it has a high ORAC but that does not necessarily mean that a serving of the juice provides a high dose of antioxidants.

Personally, I am not impressed with Mona Vie because of the price and limited vitamin and mineral content. I currently take a Liquid Multi Formula which contains 2500 ORAC units per serving in addition to a full complement of vitamins, minerals and supplements. I pay $30 delivered for a month’s supply which is a fraction of the cost of Mona Vie and mine is an MLM product too.

I also enjoy Xocai Healthy Chocolate, another MLM product which has acai berry as well as potent antioxidants from specially processed cocoa. One little Xocai Power Square has an ORAC value of 3,582.

I think that Mona Vie strengths may lie in marketing and distribution rather than in the value equation when it comes to the product. Consumable products are an advantage when you are trying to build residual income but it is best if the products are value priced. I know of several products that offer better value to the consumer and that raises a red flag in my mind when it comes to Mona Vie.

It is easier to promote a business when the products are better value than what people can find elsewhere, have strong appeal (who doesn’t like chocolate) and are something that people are already spending money on.

In conclusion, I do not see Mona Vie as a fit for me but one has to respect the success that the company and their distributors enjoy. Those that see value in the product will be best positioned to succeed with it.

What You Should Know About Air Freight Carriers

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
by Kim and Charles Petty

Freight is technically the term used to describe the cargo for shipment. Air freight, on the other hand, is the cargo that is being shipped via air. This may be done using typical passenger airplane aboard the cargo area or through specialized cargo planes dedicated for this special industry.

It is primarily divided into three categories: a) household goods, b) express deliveries, c) parcel shipment, and d) freight shipments.

Each of which is priced depending on the system as provided by the National Motor Freight Classification. Each class also corresponds to the goods that can be shipped. Say for household goods, only those that can be considered furniture and household appliances can be subjected to price ranges and services provided in this area. Express deliveries, in general, include items such as mails, business papers and envelopes. Parcels, on the other hand, include those items that are usually boxed. Freight shipment though covers all other huge items that can’t be accommodated by services functioning in the lower classes.

Air freight is further subdivided into two categories: The Less-than-Truckload Freight which basically accommodate items that are less than 15 000 pounds and have the height of exactly 28 inches or even lesser than that. The other subcategory of freight shipments is the Truckload Freight that covers item weighing 43 000 pounds or less and has the length not exceeding to 53 inches.

Shipments larger than these are often carried by super cargo planes. Those relatively huge items such as military equipments, planes and helicopters are carried through the Antonov AN-225- the largest cargo plane in the world.

For each type of air freight cargo, there is basically some air freight carriers to do the job. Most often than not, smaller items can be shipped using passenger air planes turned into air freight carriers.

Boeing 747-400 is usually configured into air freight carrier since it has space large enough to accommodate items for forwarding. But since it is not purely designed as an air freight carrier, there are some crucial limitations that impedes to its absolute use for this exact purpose. Nevertheless, when used as an air freight carrier, it may function well enough to transport cargoes of various kinds towards their proper destinations.

Air freight carriers like Bekins and North American Van Lines specialize in household goods delivery. FedEx Express, UPS and DHL top rate the field of express deliveries yet it is basically everybody’s game since this field appears to be the easiest route when you want to make money in the forwarding business. Leading air freight carriers in the parcel division (also known as ground shipment) are FedEx Grounds and UPS. While for Less-than-Truckload and Truckload freight areas, air freight carrier names like Old Dominion, AAA Cooper, Averett Express, Roadway, Schneider and JB Hunt are the most trusted.

In the air freight industry, there are also middlemen in the playing field. These are often called as freight brokers since they are the institutions that create arrangements between shippers and air freight companies. Brokers are reached through online marketplaces. They are the best sources for discounts since they have the direct contacts with air service providers.

Major air freight brokers are CHRobinson, Hub Group, Twin Modal and Rockwell.

If you want better and easier access to the names we have listed above, it is best to find sources through online intermediaries such as Transcore DAT, Freightquote.com and uShip.com.

Air Freight Containers Facts

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
by Kim and Charles Petty

Some may think that a person’s interest in knowing about air freight containers is weird. Many people tend to take objects and containers for granted. Think about the last gift you got. Do you remember exactly what item it was? Now, do you remember what was used to wrap it?

People tend to ignore these details because they think that the present is more worthy of focus than the box it’s carried in. Many people tend to forget that the box is what protects the present in the first place. Knowing about air freight containers is very important as it allows you to realize the conditions that your cargo goes through when it is being delivered. You can see whether a certain air freight container is suitable to protect and to hold your cargo.

Did you know that the term “air freight container” is rarely used by people working on airlines? The proper term is actually “unit load device” or ULD. This fact alone can help you in making faster inquiries regarding air freight.

Another fact about air freight containers that you should know about is the fact that there are actually standards used to determine the quality of an air freight container. In fact, there is actually an association which determines the specifications of air freight containers. This is to make sure that all manufacturers of air freight containers make their products as uniform as possible. This means that there will be no substandard products.

The International Air Transport association is in charge of the details concerning air freight containers. This association is responsible for setting the standards that would ensure the correct transport of cargo.

Here are some of the details that they specify:

1) Container size - of course, standardization of the air freight container size is important. It helps people determine if the type of air freight container that they got can actually be used in transporting their cargo. This also makes it easier for companies to determine which type of air freight container is appropriate for their cargo. Knowing this is also very important in determining how much space your cargo will take up in a plane.

2) Door - it is necessary to standardize the doors of air freight containers in order to make sure that people are able to actually get their cargo to fit into the container. The door size is not the only factor that’s standardized. The material used to make the door is also standardized. This is done in order to make sure that the cargo is protected from any potential hazard.

3) Modifications - different types of cargo require different types of air freight containers. These modifications are also standardized in order to help determine the dimensions of an air freight container easier. This of course, saves a lot of space and money. The modifications could be designed to accommodate the safety of various cargos, or it could be designed to ensure the comfort of animal cargo.

4) Material - the materials used in the making of air freight containers are also standardized. This is done in order to easily determine the weight of the cargo and container. This of course, is very important since it determines the efficiency of any vehicle to transport cargo. The materials used in making air freight containers also have a big impact on the protection of the cargo.

A Historical Look At The Air Freight Industry

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
by Kim and Charles Petty

During the early years of aviation, people were constantly looking for practical uses of airplanes. People were amazed with the machines that enabled men to fly, but the question of what to do with them plagued everyone’s mind. Of course, the uses for airplanes could not be limited to entertainment, because that would be wasting the huge potential of the technology on a pretty superficial industry. The air freight industry began with the journey of a bolt of silk from Dayton to Columbus, Ohio in November 1910.

That fateful trip gave birth to the airfreight industry as we know it today. After that event, everything just progressed to new heights for the air freight industry. One of the pioneers of the air freight industry is American Railway Express. The name of the company points out to the fact that before the advent of the air freight industry, cargo was usually transported by train.

The airfreight industry made a lot of conveniences possible. First, there was the matter of speed. Air freight sped up deliveries between businesses. This means that the air freight industry made it possible for businesses to acquire various merchandise when they needed it. This also saved a lot of money on storage. Before the advent of the air freight industry, businesses had to keep as much stock as possible. This helped them to meet orders in time. Because of the introduction of air freight, businesses could just fly in any merchandise.

During the 1920’s, shipping of cargo via air grew more popular. In November 14, 1926, the National Air Transport Company was born. This company delivered the first air cargo in the United States in September 1, 1927. Many more companies were founded as promoters of the air freight industry. As the industry was still relatively young, these companies did not make much profit.

The air freight industry got to a slow start because of the fact that they had stiff competition coming from passenger carriers. Many established passenger carriers opposed the establishment of an all-cargo air freight industry mainly because they feared it would destabilize the air industry.

Another reason why the air freight industry did not grow as people hoped was that most businesses were unable to sustain the huge losses associated with starting an air freight operation. While some people attempted to remedy this by combining air freight with air passenger transport, they only succeeded in slowing down the industry.

The revolution of the air freight industry came about when a man named Fred Smith noticed that the common practice of combining air freight with passenger freight was highly inefficient. He proposed that air freights should have different flight patterns from passenger flights. He was successful in gathering funds mainly because of his proposal for a guaranteed next-day-delivery service. And so it was that in April 1973, the Federal Express began operations. Of course, the initial years of business were hard. However, after three years of flying cargo, the company was beginning to show profit.

By the 1980’s, Federal express was a household name. This just goes to show you how far a truly great idea can take you. Today, the air freight industry is booming and companies make millions of dollars in profits. That’s a far cry from the way that air freight businesses lost money in the past.
