Ghostwriting can be said to be a great way of having a reliable, good income and also enjoy doing what one likes best. If you can write well, then you can be a ghostwriter for many of the well know publications published all over the world. It also includes content writing for websites. It is a very common practice to get the content written by a ghostwriter without anyone coming to know the name of the content writer. Ghostwriting stand head and shoulders above anything else provided you love writing. And believe me it is not at all difficult to become a ghostwriter and set up a business of your own in the field of content writing, book writing or any other writing assignments.

It is a job where you can work from home, and don’t have to work the hours which are enforced by someone else. On top of that you are doing what you just love to do; maybe you will feel as though you should pay the client for the joy you are getting out of this writing. As a ghostwriter you can earn all the money you have dreamt of.

You believe it or not ghostwriters are the undisclosed group of writers at the back of hundreds of novels and journals found in the book store and the libraries. Content writers can write for any kind of articles, reports, e-books, handbook, guide books etc which are the part of internet. To tell you the truth any book you buy there is a 40 percent chance that it has been written by a ghostwriter. All it requires to be a good ghostwriter is to be able to translate the information given by your client into great content. This involves some work and targeted research

There is no way you can see the name of the ghostwriter on the book or article. It is always the clients’ name which will appear on the cover. You may get credit for being the editor or the proofreader. But the important thing is you have made the cash and go all the way laughing to the bank. You know you are good at your job and there may be some clients who will be aware of your good work and respect you for that.

Most of the content which you see on the websites today is written by writers no one knows about. They are all just content writers who do their job well. They are a very important part of the business and much in demand.

Want to make money from home? If you can write a letter, you can write articles and can sell them online to Web sites which are desperate for content.

You can sell your articles directly to Web sites, or you can create your own Web site, and sell advertising on the site. When people visit your site, you’re paid by your advertisers.

Let’s look at five easy articles types you can write:

1. The Teaching article: how to do something

What have you learned how to do? Perhaps you’ve learned how to take digital photographs of your baby; or how to paint your house; or how to create a household budget. Whatever you’ve learned to do, you can teach others.

Teaching articles explain the process of doing something in detail.

2. The Review: review all your purchases

Bought a book? Or a CD or DVD? Everything you buy gives you a new article topic. Review the movie you saw last week, and you’ve got an article which took you little time to write.

3. Motivational: self-help sells

Inspirational articles motivate people. If you’ve survived a difficult experience, you’ll got material for hundreds of articles. Tell others the secrets to surviving divorce, or surviving a serious illness.

4. Tip lists: everyone loves Top Ten lists

You can compile list articles about anything which interests you. An easy way to write them is just to write down a list of everything you know about a particular topic. Then chop your long list into “top five tips” or “top seven tips.”

5. “How I did it” articles share your hard-won experience

With Survivor articles you tell others how you met a challenge. The challenge can be small, or large. For example, perhaps you cured yourself of procrastination, or survived redundancy.

For your personal experience article, simply describe your challenge, and how you solved that challenge.

So there you have five easy article types you can write to make money.

Setting Up Your Expectation with Content Writers

Monday, November 12th, 2007
by JD Theis

When we click on a URL, we expect to see a website that provides us information about the company or person and some more related details. And of course, the presence of impressive logos and pictures will add to the pleasure of browsing through that particular site. If heavy words and technical jargons are used, the reader would lose interest and move on to another website. The person hired to do the writing for these sites are called Content writers. They are people who have the ability to play with words and create something unique and interesting. As of late the number of people who have made an entry into this domain has increased by multitudes reflecting on how much talent is available in the market.

Once the company or the individual have decided on the website and had a discussion with the web design team, they will get down to looking for a content writer. Writing for magazines and books is very different from writing for a website. Since today most of the businesses operate on the virtual web world, the content in their company website needs to be perfect and such that it reaches out to their prospective clients. The content needs to be precise, clear cut and stylish as well. Only then will it have the desired effect. Any word or sentence that is important should be highlighted so the viewer notices it right away. And every writer will have a style of writing which will be visible on their writing assignments. If they a re taking up a project, they must make sure to understand the concept, the company or individual, their line of business before getting down to writing the content. They must also make the write up as lively as possible for no one wants to read boring material. They should also not write long sentences and stick to the main subject and focus on that throughout the content.

Since people today are living in a fast paced world and they don’t have time to spend reading heavy or long pages. So it is important to keep the write up brief and remain focused on the purpose of the website. If you are writing about a product, then work on trying to promote the same and if it is a service, concentrate from the customer’s point of view. And the content writers need to be aware of keywords that people use to search for websites and include them in the content. All content writers get paid based on the number of words they use, so there would be come companies that pay more than others. Depending on their interest or money factor, they would choose the projects and write based on the directions given. The content writer should put themselves in the reader’s shoes to understand what they look for and write accordingly. They must however pay attention to the language and the kind of words they use because only then will it appeal to business people and corporates.

How To Create And Distribute interactive PDF Forms

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

by Andrew Whiteman

Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional can be used, among many other things, for creating and distributing interactive forms and keeping track of peoples’ responses as they are sent back to the form’s originator.

The PDF format is a great choice for forms since it will allow the user to see the form exactly as it was created. Web forms, by contrast, can vary depending on the operating system and browser software being used.

One also has a wider variety of options when it comes to distributing PDF forms: for example, email, CD or DVD. Email, in particular offers a very direct distribution channel.

Forms have been a feature of Acrobat since version 3. However, the forms features available in Acrobat 8 are a significant improvement on anything available in previous versions.

Instead of relying purely on other applications to supply its content, Acrobat can now create forms from scratch using a utility called Adobe Life Cycle Designer. It also includes some useful form templates such as conference registration, employee appraisal, etc.

As before, you can use forms made in other software such as Word or QuarkXPress. However, now Acrobat has a feature for automatically recognising where fields need to be inserted and creating them for you.

If you wish to use some of your printed forms as starting points for your interactive PDF form, then Acrobat’s Scan From Paper option will offer just what you need.

Once you have the basic form created, you can add in all the standard form controls. In addition to text fields, PDF forms support combo boxes, option buttons, checkboxes and, of course, submit buttons.

Traditionally, only a full version of Acrobat would allow you to fill out a PDF form and then save the form data to disk. With Acrobat 8 professional, if you click on the “Advanced” menu and choose “Enable Usage Rights in Acrobat Reader”, people filling out your form with Acrobat Reader will be able to save their form data and email it back to you.

Acrobat 8 Professional will allow you to distribute the form to a number of recipients via email. This of requires that you have an email client, such as Microsoft Outlook set up on your machine.

Returned forms are saved in a special Acrobat file called a dataset. When users complete the form and email it back to you, you simply double-click on the attached form. Acrobat opens a special window marked ” Add Completed Form to Data Set”.

Once all the forms have been returned and the data added to the dataset, you just open the dataset and export it as a CSV (comma separated values) file. This format is compatible with programs like Excel and Access which can then be used to store and analyse responses to your forms.

Top - Article Writing Submission For Marketing Success

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

by Marta Furani

So, you’re spending a lot of money, time and efforts, struggling like mad to market your business, website, blogs using the most powerful Internet marketing strategies, hoping to make your business a success to earn you a modest living. Most probably, you have been one of the hard chasers, extremely busy writing ad copies, articles, press releases, sending them to media outlets and popular publications, working night and day to promote your business using the most powerful Internet marketing strategies. Simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and possibly the best way to earn money online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your website.

The most important affiliate marketing secret to keep in mind is the reason why affiliate marketing remains the most effective way of marketing any online business. Writing your own articles and publishing them can be free as opposed to paying for Pay Per Click Advertising and the more articles you write the more well known you will be and the more targeted site traffic you will get. Although affiliate marketing is promoted as one of the easiest and most successful ways to earn money online, it’s not as easy as it sounds.

This advertises you and your website and builds free traffic to your site and trustworthiness for you if your articles are of good quality. You’ve probably heard by now that article marketing can help you build links back to your site. Each article you have published is excellent advertising for your website as at the end of your article you will have printed an ‘about the author’ section (also called bylines).

Keep in mind that Article Marketing is not an ad, so you can not just start writing about how great your product or service is but rather supply helpful informative content for people. You don’t even really need to know much about the subject you are writing the article about since there are resources available that you can use to provide a basis that would have enough informatiom in it to get your article started. It is impossible to predict which sites will pick your article up, but it can be very exciting to find that a piece that you created has been published by a site with Page Rank of 4 , 5 or possibly better. Investigate and construct a list of all the free article directories you can find so that you can simply submit your articles to the sites on your list when you’ve finished writing. Based on my experience both as an author and a creator of niche focused content sites, think very carefully before leaping on the wagon of the newest trend in article publishing.

Every article you have published is absolute advertising for your website as at the end of your article you will have printed an ‘about the author’ section (also called bylines), this advertises you and your website and builds free traffic to your site and trustworthiness for you if your articles are of good individualism. If you want to write articles purely for the sake of getting a lot of low quality links back to your website, you are going to have to play the numbers game - lots of low quality articles submitted through cybernated tools to the various article directories. Writing your own articles and publishing them can be free as contrasted to paying for Pay Per Click Advertising and the more articles you create the more well known you will be and the more functional website traffic you will get.

You’ve most likely heard by now that article marketing can help you build links back to your site. Most people do not know it but a free marketing article can be much more powerful than a mini site and can also do a lot more to drive valuable traffic to a targeted site. While article marketing is a function of many factors that may not lend itself to an exact computation of absolute interest in monetary terms, we can’t run away from the fact that when it comes to the profitability of any online business, we have to think in sums of dollars and cents.
