Enjoy Your Life By Definitely Changing Your Point Of View

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008
by Elias Maseko

In life, you are always filled with choices. You may opt to have a pessimist’s view and live a self-defeated life or you may decide to take the optimist’s route and take a challenging and fulfilling life.

We reach a point in our life when we are ready for change and a whole bunch of information that will help us unlock our self improvement power. Until then, something can be staring us right under our nose but we don’t see it. The only time we think of unlocking our self improvement power is when everything got worst.

Optimists expect the best. The defining characteristic of pessimists is that they tend to believe bad events, which will last a long time and undermine everything they do, are their own fault.

Some people won’t say “things will never get better,” “If I failed once, it will happen again” and “If I experience misfortune in one part of my life, then it will happen in my whole life.”

When the going gets tough, optimists get tougher. Optimists typically maintain higher levels of subjective well-being during times of stress than do people who are less optimistic. In contrast, pessimists are likely to react to stressful events by denying that they exist or by avoiding dealing with problems. Pessimists are more likely to quit trying when difficulties arise.

Optimists’ health is unusually good. They age well, much freer than most people from the usual physical ills of middle age. And they get to outlive those prone to negative thoughts.

So why not be an optimist today? And think positively towards a more fulfilled life.

Creative notions

So how do you unleash your creative thinking? Well, the first thing is to become a human leech. No, we’re not talking about just sucking the blood out of every living being available, we’re saying that you should take in as much knowledge and learning you can find. Read everything available — good and bad, and keep your mind open to the infinite possibilities of the universe. The more you know, the more you’ll want to know, and the more your faculty of wonder will be exercised. Prepare to be amazed at little facts that add a bit of color into your life.

Embrace insanity. No not to the point of practically admitting yourself into the mental ward. As John Russell once said, “Sanity calms, but madness is more interesting.” Exactly! Every creative thought was once deemed insanity by other “normal” people at one time or another. Luckily, that didn’t stop the creative geniuses from standing by them. The thing is, sanity or being normal confines people to think… well, normally. Withink limits. Creativity is essentially breaking through barriers. Yes, this includes the bizzarre and the downright strange. I’m not saying that you yourself should develop a creative personality. That might go haywire. An example of a creative personality would be George Washington, who often rode into battle naked, or James Joyce, who wrote “Dubliners” with beetle juice for an intense fear of ink, or Albert Einstein, who thought his cat was a spy sent by his rival (or in thinking creatively in this case, the term could probably be “archnemesis.”) It’s important that your creativity doesn’t get you detached from the real world completely.

Be Happy And Stay Motivated In Your Life

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008
by Amanda Maseko

Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health. Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.

To be happy is relatively easy, just decide to be a happy person. Abraham Lincoln observed that most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their outlook to be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy.

There are several ways by stay motivated

Being grateful is a great attitude. We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans your windows. Also thank the mailman for bringing you your mails, thank the policeman for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.

Manage your time. Time is invaluable and too important to waste. Time management can be viewed as a list of rules that involves scheduling, setting goals, planning, creating lists of things to do and prioritizing. These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. These basic skills can be fine tuned further to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire.

Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons and could also give us more opportunities in the future.

These are the few simple things you can do everyday to be happy.

Innovation

It’s a talent that everyone has, yet they think they don’t “The power of innovation”. If you’ve ever marveled at somebody’s creative prowess, guess what, you can create and innovate too. It just takes time. Everyone is born creative. The box of crayons in kindergarten class were not limited to those who possessed potential; because the truth is, everybody has potential.

Record your dreams. Aren’t some of them just the craziest things that your conscious mind would never have thought of? If you’ve had these dreams before, and I’m sure have, this only shows you the untapped innovative power you have lying within. So jot down those notes. Those dreams may just create an innovative spark in you.

Find your own style. You can always tell a Van Gogh from a Matisse. You’ll know Hemingway wrote something by the choice of words on the paper. So it is the same with you. People will appreciate your innovation more because it is uniquely yours and that no one else would have thought of what you were thinking. That will let people see how valuable an asset you are.

Don’t worry about inspiration. You can’t force it; inspiration hits when you least expect it to, for those unpredictable yet inevitable moments you should prepare. An idea could strike you on the subway, yet alas, you poor unfortunate soul; you have no sheet of paper to scribble down a thought that could change the world. Avoid these disasters. Have a pen and paper within your arm’s reach at all times.

Liberty On The Outside, Freedom On The Inside

by Healthy Wealthy nWise

Ellie Drake, a world-famous motivational speaker, came from a humble background in Iran. While living in Iran, she was told many times to give up on having dreams. No one there could be successful. Giving up just wasn’t in her blood, though. She would later come to America knowing barely a word of English and live out the American Dream.

Coming to American had always been one of Ellie Drake’s wildest dreams. Living in the “free world” seemed impossible when growing up surrounded by bombs. When she was young, Ellie wanted so badly to learn English that she would walk to school, dictionary in hand, and memorize one new word per day. She couldn’t pronounce what she was learning, but she at least familiarized herself with English terminology.

The first day of the rest of her life was a day Ellie finally saw when her parents brought her to America. She had so much inner passion, inner freedom, that she knew she would be unstoppable paired with the outward liberties of a country like the United States.

To have success, you have to light your passions on fire and let them burn into your heart. Success and passion are absolutely not the same things, although they seem to go hand in hand. Being successful in your job doesn’t mean you’re passionate about your job, but making a career out of something you’re passionate about is bound to bring you success.

Ellie Drake was so successful in her new American schools that she fulfilled her parents’ dream of becoming a doctor. They wanted her to be a doctor so that she could make enough money to care for them when they got old. Ellie didn’t enjoy being a doctor, though. She wanted more from life.

Ellie wanted more than anything to be a public speaker and entrepreneur, so one day she confidently gave her diploma to her parents and told them she didn’t want to be a doctor anymore. She knew her passion would carry her through the tough days ahead. She told herself many times, “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.”

Passion is great, but there are always bills to pay. How can you follow you passions without losing everything? Ellie feels that’s the wrong attitude to have. Your focus must be on your passions, because that’s what will make you money. If you’re focused on money, you can’t be focused on how to make money.

Ellie started out with debt like many of us do. When she left school, she was under $150,000 of student loan debt. On top of that, she had spent $115,000 on credit card purchases. Passion is what led her through, and today, along with BraveHeart Productions, she empowers women and executives nationwide to follow their passions and live out their own American Dream.

The Story Behind Rhonda Byrne’s “the Secret”

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008
by Healthy Wealthy nWise

Haven’t we all had bad days once in a while? I know I have. Consider Rhonda Byrne for a moment. She didn’t have a bad day; she had a bad YEAR. As if struggling financially wasn’t enough, she lost her father, and her business was failing. As luck would have it, her daughter handed her a book one night that would lead to a life-changing production. Rhonda had found The Secret, and she wanted the world to know!

As soon as possible, Rhonda Byrne gathered her production crew to tell them about a feature-length film she had in mind. She had no budget, but she had faith, and she convinced her crew to have faith as well. She told them not to focus on the “how”. They were only to focus on the outcome, a successful movie. Sometimes she caught herself thinking about the how rather than the outcome, and she would have to bring her mind back into focus.

One such time when focusing on the outcome paid off was toward the end of production when Rhonda wished she would’ve asked for close-ups of people during interviews. She could only afford one camera throughout production, so having a second angle wouldn’t have been possible. One day two camera men accidentally showed up, so the second one decided to focus his camera on faces. The faces he captured were exactly the ones Rhonda wanted at the end of production!

Rhonda Byrne once said, “Faith is total heart trust without knowing with your mind.” That’s part of what the secret is all about, and part of why she began production on the movie without any money. She had faith in herself and chose to focus on the goal rather than how she would reach the goal.

Are you flat broke without a penny to your name? You are if you think you are! By focusing on statements like “I’m broke,” is a negative way to live your life. By focusing on the positives, you’ll force yourself to be more than you are at the moment.

Life is challenging. We each face unique problems day after day. The Secret is a way to overcome challenges, because you fill your heart with love rather than heartache and worry. Rhonda was barely scraping by, but that didn’t stop her from giving away her money to people on the street. It changed the focus of money from negative to positive.

To have The Secret, you must first have focus. What do you want? What would you like to become? Turn those thoughts into a mental laser beam, and ignore all the negative thoughts in your mind. Figure out what it is you really want, and then focus your mind on it like a laser beam. Ignore everything else. Rhonda wanted so much for the whole world to know the focus secret that she gave away MILLIONS of DVDs before the movie even started making money!

Take action! It’s the only way to get what you want. You can focus on flying all day long, but until you build a plane, you’ll never leave the ground. Rhonda Byrne took action with The Secret. She didn’t advertise in newspapers and on major networks. She put out online trailers and let the word of mouth spread like wildfire. Focus and action are the keys to The Secret.

Success With The Secret

Monday, January 28th, 2008
by Healthy Wealthy nWise

Does it seem like you don’t find as much success as others? Have you noticed that some people have everything they could ever want which you don’t? Guess what? They have The Secret. I’m not talking about A secret. I’m talking about THE Secret. The Secret has been handed down through time by successful people as told in the recently released movie, The Secret.

I’m sure you’ve heard of people like Plato, Leonardo, Galileo, Napoleon, Hugo, Beethoven, Lincoln, Edison, Einstein and Carnegie. Those are just a small number of the people whose lives have been affected for good by The Secret. Many have searched, but few have found it. People have stolen it, hidden it, and even lost it.

The Secret is a documentary of sorts in which several of the world’s leaders in the fields of business, economics, medicine, psychology, history, theology and science tell how they used it to become so successful. Among them are Dr. Denis Waitley and ‘Miracle Man’ Morris Goodman.

Rhonda Byrne is the bestselling author of The Secret and executive producer of the movie as well. One night after reading a book her daughter had given her, The Secret came to her mind. She immediately began to use it to turn around her own life and the lives of those on her production crew at a time when her life was falling apart, and she had no money to pay the crew. The Secret is all about giving and the Law of Attraction.

Mental focus is the essence of the Law of Attraction. You have to point a mental laser beam at whatever it is you desire. By having intense focus and ignoring everything else, the things you want will begin to materialize in ways you hadn’t imagined possible. Then, you have to fill your heart with love so you can truly feel filled and give to others.

Rhonda Byrne gave to others in a way that most of us would consider insane. During production of the movie The Secret, Rhonda was completely broke. One day, she withdrew what little money she had set aside for bills and started handing it to people on the street. Then, before her movie had started making any money for her, she began giving away copies of the DVD to people in poor countries in Africa and elsewhere in the world.

The Secret isn’t just some crazy idea. Doctors in the medical field and the field of quantum physics explain in the film the science behind The Secret to explain how it works. There are bestselling authors and even philosophers in the film to explain how The Secret brought them success beyond their wildest dreams.

You can learn how to put The Secret to work in your life. Transform your relationship, health, and wealth. Find success in anything you want to do. Everything you’ve ever wanted is waiting for you to reach out and grab it. Watch The Secret, or buy the book to learn what others are already enjoying.

Right And Wrong Mindsets

by Donald Miller

How you think will create success or failure in your life. If you have the fixed mindset, you believe that your talents and abilities are set in stone-either you have them or you don’t.

A growth mindset will allow you to develop your talents and abilities through knowledge and mentoring, while maintaining a teachable attitude.

How do you change and build an exciting new future? It all starts with the correct mindset which is highly engaging and very practical, opening new doors.

A mindset that has changed, no longer set in stone, enables you to effectively pusue your goals and once again make all your dreams become a reality. It all starts with your mindset.

True success and fullfillment at any stage of life can be achieved by a changed mindset. This is the most important path of opportunity. It is sometimes only realised through mentoring.

Without determination I NEVER would have been successful online, and neither will you. Here are some additional hints. A successful outcome will depend on two things: how you are and what you say.

How do wealthy people succeed? In short, they are programmed for it. My realization is this. Its not your surroundings but what’s inside you that causes success. My conclusion is this. Its not the tools, it’s the person that determines how successful they will be.

It’s the inner software in their brain that helps wealthy people obtain their goal. They have the mindset that naturally attracts their desired success. How would it make you feel to eliminate your weaknesses and discouver your strengths?

You REALLY need to focus on what you want from life. Determine to identify what is holding you back. Reprogram your thinking from defeat to success. Take aim at your new direction and set sail.

Building a successful future requires COMMITMENT. Imagine how wonderful it would feel to know that you can be the success you have always dreamt to be. You CAN.

The point is this: to create real wealth online you require knowledge, follow successful people, do what they do and the world becomes your office. Even though you have little knowledge of the internet, it will be one of your steps in changing your mindset.

Having a mentor and having a teachable spirit is the best way to teach you success. This increases your efficiency and will lead you to focus on Internet Advertising one of the most highly measurable and effective verticals. See you at the top.

Control Your Life Chi Energy & Control Your Life!

Thursday, January 10th, 2008
by George Harrison

It all starts with observing the World around us and discovering how it really works.

Have you ever had a day that just didn’t seem to go right? You know, a day where you just wished you stayed in bed?

Well, we all know this is a universal experience and no one seems to be immune. But, just what could be behind this kind of roller-coaster ride in Life? Have we really ever taken a closer look to find out why these days occur? We’re much more likely to just hope that they’ll just move on and that the next day will be better, without wondering if we could somehow control this mysterious factor of Life Energy or “Chi”.

Step One: Life Energies Surround Us Always.

When we have a “bad day”, we’re merely picking up on the energies that are everywhere around us (in this case, the negative energy), and it affects our mood and our physical performance at Home and Work.

There’s an invisible web of Life Energy called “Chi” that surrounds us and affects us whether we’re waking or asleep. The Eastern World has known of these energies for thousands of years and the West also has known and kept these discoveries as secrets of priesthoods or vanished religions.

Negative energies are those that hinder or drain us of the energy we need to succeed and move forward with Life with a sense of Satisfaction and Accomplishment.

The Positive Energies are supportive and energy-giving ones (unlike their opposite numbers). We feel absolutely Great when the Positive Energy Web surrounding us is the prevalent or strongest one. These are those “full on” days when everything seems to be going right.

Now the truth of Life is that we absolutely need as much of Positive energy or Life Chi Force as we can possibly get so we’re able to perform at our best level. If negative energies have the exact opposite effect on us, then, we should learn all we can about how to “accentuate the positives and eliminate the negatives” in our lives.

Step Two: Focus On The Positive Energy Sources Only.

Controlling Your Energy Fields = Controlling Your Life.

Ever have a sudden shift in mood, for better or worse? Amazing how quickly it can happen isn’t it? Someone says the wrong thing at the wrong time and “BANG!”, we’ve shifted into a negative anger mode. Or, have you ever had a child ask you something in pure innocence that made you sincerely smile and instantly happy? There’s the proof that these energies can be commanded and shifted quickly. Let’s learn how to make that work in our favor.

Here’s one: Positive thinking or, more specifically, thinking one single very positive thought and holding that thought for more than 3 minutes will definitely start the shift no matter what the mood.

One Positive Thought held for a time, displaces all others and their negative effects. What a Treasure of a Tool! Your entire physical brain chemistry is altered by your thoughts and good thoughts yield “good” chemicals that make us feel good about ourselves all day long.

It simply takes a little time for those chemicals to go to work and so, hold those good thoughts as long as you can!

Additional means of creating and maintaining a positive energy and mood shift can be enjoyed by using great music, great art, meditation and guarding our language to focus on positive uplifting speech.

As long as we have the right set of tools at our command to use for this purpose of energy shifting, we can always offset the influences of outside negative forces and rise above them to continue the pursuit of our goals and dreams. To create longer lasting energy changes that can propel us forward day after day, we can investigate the new discoveries discussed on the authors website listed in the about the author section at the end of this article.

Step Three: Hold Your Focus On That Positive Thought Energy As Long As You Can.

The longer you can hold the positive thought or action the better for building up your positive energy reserves. Of course, there’s only so much time anyone can devote to such activities and still pursue their life’s intents, but, all efforts help.

Fortunately, there are other newer techniques that can release us from this process and both generate positive energy and cancel out the negative energies in our environment. This certainly would be a time saver.

It’s important to explore these new techniques and look for the technology and teachers who will allow you to remain in complete control of the energy process.

Find what makes you comfortable in the energy generating field and try to locate someone whose products and consultation or input will not be required too often. This is all part of being in control of your own process.

Further information about these futuristic solutions to our energy needs will be discussed in our upcoming articles. You can also learn some more by going to the author’s website link in the author box following this article.

Ensuring Your Success When Working With Real Estate Agents

Sunday, December 9th, 2007
by Charles and Kim Petty

You have heard all of the hype surrounding real estate investing, and you’re ready to get started. You know that there is money to be made – you’ve seen the late night infomercials, and you even know some people who are investing in real estate successfully.

But how do you find deals that will make you money? One of the best areas to make money in real estate is through fixer-upper or rehab properties. One of the best ways to find these types of deals is through a real estate agent. You know them. You have seen their billboards with their smiling faces and catchy slogans! But how do you find the right real estate agent?

First there are two types of real estate agents: Buyer’s agents and listing agents. The buyer’s agents are the ones that represent the buyer’s and make offers on listed properties. Listing agents are the agents that list properties and represent the seller of a property. The seller can be a private individual, a bank, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) or any other person or entity that has decided to sell a property. Some agents represent both buyer’s and sellers, while some agents are only on one side of the business.

There are many courses and gurus that will tell you to find a real estate agent and you will make so much money you won’t be able to stand it. But the key is to find the right agent. If you are to be successful in real estate investing or any endeavor at all, you must find the right people to do business with. You must find the right buyer’s agent to work with you on finding properties. The buyer’s agent that you work with must meet the following criteria:

1. Experience with working with investors 2. Ability to think “outside of the box” 3. Friendly 4. Aggressive

Experience working with investors.

You wouldn’t go to Burger King and ask for a bucket of chicken, would you? Yet many investors will attempt to work with an agent that is used to working with first time home owners and expect to have success. You must have someone in your corner that knows the territory and knows what to expect. The market for real estate investors is very different than that of a homeowner looking for a house in which to live. The real estate agent must understand not only the value of comparable sales and how needed repairs affect a sales price, but a myriad of other real estate investing specific criteria. You also want an agent that is used to Bank Owned (REO) properties, Government owned properties (HUDs), etc.

Ability to think outside of the box

All profitable investors must be creative and go against conventional wisdom at times. You must have an agent that thinks like you and is not offended if you are making a creative offer or attempting to put together a creative transaction.

Friendly

This rule should apply to anyone you are going to do business with on a consistent basis. Real estate investing should lead to freedom and security and if you have to deal with someone who is not a joy to be around takes away from your freedom. Your agent should not only be friendly, but should genuinely appreciate your business. Friendly agents get better results; they develop a better rapport with sellers and seller’s agents which will result in more closings. This will result in more money in your pocket.

Aggressive

Many times your buyer’s agent must call the listing agent of a property several times in order to get a response. Your buyer’s agent may also have to make several offers before one gets accepted. Your agent must be able to press and not get frustrated.

Once you have found an agent that fits this criteria, you want to grow and develop a long term relationship with them. You want to do your best to close on time once you have a property under contract with them. Once you have closed several deals with them you also should send them birthday cards, Christmas cards, take them out to dinner etc. to show them that you value their business.

A good real estate agent can make you a lot of money. Find a good one and grow your relationship with them and you will be well on your way to building your real estate empire!

We wish you much success!

Easy Ways To Learn Simple Spanish

Saturday, December 8th, 2007
by Juan Medina

Learning Spanish can be one of the most valuable things you will ever learn in your lifetime. Even so, you have to realize that Spanish is really another skill to master, not an edict from higher authority. Spanish can be a fun subject to study and if you work it right can bring you years of enjoyment. Even simple Spanish phrases can be incredibly useful and just “cool” to know. Not only that, but learning basic Spanish is one of the simplest things to do.

There are reasons to learn the Spanish language for its own sake. And in our time, language learning software can be perfect for people who like to learn Spanish at their own pace in the comfort of their own home or who can’t attend regular classes. Language-learning software gives learners the flexibility to set their own pace. These computer programs most commonly fall into two types: and these types feature either the immersion or the translation method. And while studying another language can make you feel smarter, you need the type of program which will work for you.

There are a lot of people who speak Spanish in the world, either as the first or second language. In some reports, as many as 500 million people worldwide. Spanish is classified as a Romance language, meaning that it is closely related to Latin, but through the years many other words from other languages have been added. Knowing Spanish, even just a few simple phrases, can be a lot of fun on trip to Spain or Mexico. Ordering food out, or even being able to just ask for help when traveling _ and understand the answer – is wonderful.

Spanish language lessons can include the common phrases for meeting and greeting people, colors, numbers, clothing, and much more. But to get these phrases into your head without a lot of trouble, the lessons must be enjoyable and easy to use. Learning Spanish can be hard enough, so don’t torture yourself by using a boring course with hard to use lessons. Make sure the lessons are interactive, engaging, and user friendly. Why learn Spanish or even take Spanish lessons if it is going to be a horrible experience.

Good Spanish learning programs, whether online, or CD or DVD sets, can teach you about culture as well as grammar and other “official”" language sorts of idea. Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in which definite article is the correct one or which tense a verb must be in. But true learning comes to people on an individual basis and your learning must be valuable to you. When I first started learning Spanish, I tried one of the “grammar” based methods and found that it was definitely not for me, but I did manage to find alternatives that gave a pretty good knowledge of the Spanish language.

Perhaps you are learning Spanish simply to prepare for a trip to Latin America or Spain. Or maybe you are learning Spanish in order to communicate with employees or customers. Or maybe, you are the type of person that can study Spanish 1 or 2 hours a day just for pure fun. In any of those cases I really recommend a basic level course for you.

Some Spanish programs will give you some statistics as to exactly how many words you have learned in a day. That might be OK for some people, but it is probably info you don’t really need. Don’t get hung up on those measurements if what you really want is to learn Spanish. Have a good time and enjoy your learning experience.

Spanish is already one of the most widely spoken and influential languages in the world. And for that reason, if I was suggesting to someone what language to start studying as their second language — I would always choose Spanish. Millions of people in the US alone speak Spanish as their second language. And if you are going to go the effort of learning another language, I can tell you for sure, that Spanish is definitely the way to go.
