9 Steps to Unique Articles!

Steven E enables authors to gain instant credibility with his marketing appeal. Steven E gives authors the ability to market to an audience they may not be able to reach on their own. Steven E is looking for all different types of authors right now. Becoming a best seller is now in reach with Steven E. Authors need not look any further than here to begin the process of becoming a best seller. Steven E wants to help propel your name as an author and to make your name known.

1) Remove your limits

Reduce your subject to a single core word and then brainstorm around it. For example, if you’re trying to write about “Study Skills”, expand your thinking to “School”. Now jot down everything that comes to mind when you think about School, and when you run out of ideas start asking yourself open questions around the subject and noting your answers.

Examples:

What did I enjoy about school? What scared me? What did I wish I’d known from Day 1?

This will help you get back into the mindset of someone struggling with school issues of all kinds and you’ll start to get a feel for their concerns and worries.

2) Restore your focus

Once you’ve started to understand the general feelings of your readers, allow your mind to focus back on your original topic of Study Skills. From your new perspective, what questions would you ask? What would you want to know? Is this really a “Studying” issue or is it more about Time Management or being able to work without distractions or being paralyzed by the fear of not doing well?

3) Be your audience

Write each question on a separate sheet of paper; don’t stop until you have at least ten and preferably more. Stay in the mindset of your readers until you feel you’ve asked every major question that concerns them.

4) Take a step back

Put your pile of question aside for a few hours, overnight if possible. Don’t consciously think about them; just go about your day as usual. Give your subconscious time to process them without any further prompting from you. If new questions come to mind jot them down somewhere safe and then forget about them.

5) Get out your pen and write

When you’re ready, sit down with your pages of questions and simply start to answer them. Writing your answers by hand can give you access to ideas that might be missed if you type them. Don’t edit yourself at this stage. Using Speech to Text software or a digital recorder can also be helpful in bypassing the internal editor.

Imagine someone sitting in front of you asking for advice and just talk to them. Keep your tone natural and conversational and stay with the question-and-answer format.

6) Edit lightly

Trust your first instincts. Proof-read and correct any obvious errors, but don’t do any major editing until your piece has had time to “sit” for a while. Again, leaving it overnight will give you a fresh perspective the next time you look at it, but even if your deadline doesn’t allow for that it’s important to give yourself a break from it.

When you’re pushed for time, writing several articles at one sitting can create enough change of focus to make you “forget” the one you’ve just written.

7) Polish it up

Short articles are unlikely to need major editing if you’ve written them as described here. They will flow easily and naturally already and having each Q & A on a separate sheet makes it easier to select only the ones you want. Your job now is to put them in a reasonably logical sequence and make sure they’re understandable and that the reader is led smoothly from one question and answer to the next.

8) Top and tail it

Write a brief introductory paragraph as a “teaser” for the main article. Many article directories now put the first paragraph of each piece into RSS feeds which are picked up by other websites, so you’ll want to make sure that your two or three major keywords appear at least once in that first paragraph.

Write another short paragraph to summarize the major points of the article and provide some ideas for the reader to explore the subject further. Don’t of course forget your own resource box at the end of the article.

9) Submit it!

Around the world Steven E is known as a highly successful publisher, entrepreneur, speaker, coach, mentor, and best-selling author. The Team Publishers program, that he helped to develop, is the publisher of the Wake UpLive the Life You Love best-selling book series with over 12 million stories in print. Steven E is also featured in the movie Pass it On!

Funny Greeting Cards For The Busy Lifestyle

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008
by Alexa Ferotina

Since I live in America, I have a busy lifestyle. I bet you do too. I do keep a day planner and I keep important anniversaries, birthdays, etc. in it, and, when time allows, I run to the greeting card shop and try to find the just the right match for the right person.

Now things have changed. I discovered Just Funny Greeting Cards online, and I am able to buy them, by the box. These are all-purpose cards, but if I have to print something special inside of it, no problem, type it into MS Word, and run the card through the computer.

For a myriad of reasons, I prefer buying this way. One is, the cards are funny. Very funny. Not just your typical cards in “humor section” of Hallmark. I mean Far Side funny if not even more so. In addition, they are in categories. The theme of each card has a cartoon relating to a specific business, job, way of life, etc. such as physics, wildlife and environment, law enforcement, and more.

Now, rather than spending all that time running back and forth to the card shop, knowing I would have to settle for something “cute” (they are rarely belly-laugh chuckle cards anymore, I simply buy a few boxes online, simple click and they are there within a few days.

Ironcally, they really do “reach out and touch someone”. I love to give cards and have given them for years. Ecards are fine, but a paper greeting cards shows you made a real effort and thought about the person. These type of cards say a lot about you and they are considered a “thoughtful gift”.

Humor is a positive thing. If they receive a greeting card that makes them laugh, they are not only to remember it, but keep it as well. There are a lot of ways to send greetings to persons and good ones at that. I’ve tried them all. This is the way that fits my busy lifestyle when I really want to touch someone’s very soul with the gift of real humor.

Article Marketing And Getting New Web Visitors

Article marketing is an exploding concept. It has made it a thrill to go to newly created sites and pick up brand new bits of fresh information. Columns are generally brief and frequently provide knowledge you can put to good use. For the marketer, the greatest advantage is attracting a raft of new visitors to the firm’s site.

It is very important to keep in mind that if you are using article marketing on your website, you will need to keep writing unique articles to generate new traffic. People will not keep reading the same articles, so you need to be creative. Try to find interesting viewpoints and information on topics that will attract your readers.

If you have a greater degree of unique content, you will attract more of an audience for your website. Throughout the globe, computer users are doing internet searches to locate needed information. If one of your columns contains what they are looking for, you will be sure to see new visitors clicking through to your website.

Since there is an abundance of article marketing on the Internet it is important that your article stand out from the others. You need to write short interesting pieces that grab and keep the readers attention. A few keywords and not a lot of words or a certain term repeated again and again will keep your readers interested.

It is vital to include key words in your article. The most important reason for doing this is that these key words will flag the search engines on the Internet, which will improve your search engine ratings. It is therefore possible, by including these key words in your article, to increase and generate new traffic.

An additional way to make article marketing work for you is by allowing your text to be used on a foreign site in exchange for a link back to you. This is guaranteed to bring in new readers. Remember that the number of new eyes “trying out” your site will be directly proportional to the number of links out on the web. Ultimately, this will make you money, which is the ultimate goal.

At present, article marketing is highly essential in order to run the business. You can modify it to almost any subject you like. It is also able to attract more and more visitors. But remember that it needs to be modified regularly. You can get satisfactory results if you write one article daily.

The most vital thing to be aware of when using article marketing for your website is that you must create unique articles that will generate new traffic for the site. People get tired of reading the same content over and over so you must utilize your creativity and find some novel points of view and information about your product that will entice the reader. If your site has a lot of unique content, you will probably draw much more traffic. Search engines are widely used everywhere by people who need information.

Article Marketing Can Boost Traffic And Sales

Friday, March 14th, 2008
by Shawn Montgomery

Selling articles is a type of advertising that is now universal and trendy among online businesses. Firms have been created solely to provide unique articles with unique content for web pages as a method for their promotion.

Article marketing on websites has also resulted in article directories both to provide useful content to visitors and to encourage traffic to a certain site. Furthermore, there are more sites which provide their own articles and they also prefer to control their exact content or idea.

An important feature of article marketing is SEO targeting by using specific key words. Articles will be germane to the overall content of a website but will be loaded with certain words and phrases to make web crawler programs detect them and lead those who search the terms to see the page on a results page and then to visit the site.

Some articles contain misspelled words and poorly-worded phrases to ensure uniqueness and to bring searches who misspell words to the sites. This brings traffic, but many visitors may be unlikely to stay on a page with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. They may assume any product is as bad as the spelling.

You can make money from article marketing by generating traffic by linking to other sites, selling services and goods to people visiting your site, or being having visitors click on ads that appear on the pages with your articles. You may also be able to make money by selling articles to other people, if those articles fit the needs of potential buyers.

The quality of articles does matter, although some site owners are so intent on getting traffic that they forget that a visit is not worth much if no one buys or clicks ads. High quality and useful articles encourage visitors to stay longer and return. They also give the impression of a professional enterprise worth patronizing. It may cost more to obtain great articles, but it is worth it.

People with writing talent can write their own articles, but most would prefer articles written by professionals. This can be accomplished by hiring individual writers or by finding web-based services where articles can be acquired. These articles then are placed on websites and authorship is credited to the purchaser.

Easy Copywriting: Five Ways to Make Money

Thursday, March 6th, 2008
by Angela Booth

If you’ve heard about all the money there is in copywriting, and wonder how you can get started, read on.

If you can write an email message that makes sense, and which gets the results you want, you can write excellent copy with a little practice. Your skill with grow with time.

But what do copywriters write? Here are five forms to get you started.

1. Write brochures - great income for 200 words

Brochures are short. Some brochures contain just a tagline, a short description, and information on how to respond. Some businesses produce brochures for hundreds of products - think of realtors, and manufacturers.

2. Write informational white papers - for the business to business trade

White papers are very popular with businesses selling to other businesses. However, often these creations aren’t called white papers. They can be called “news briefs”, “reports” or “overviews”.

Some white papers can be under ten pages, others can be 25 pages of information, and you’re well paid for writing them.

3. Write press releases: businesses love to get free advertising

Businesses small and large hire copywriters to write press releases, with the hope of getting coverage in major newspapers and magazines, and even on television. So if you get some practice writing press releases, you can become a PR copywriter.

Since they’re written to a format, press releases are easy to write. As a specialist, you could write several a day.

4. Radio spots - audio copywriting

Some copywriters specialize in writing for audio, primarily radio advertising, or “spots.”

When you’re writing for listeners, you must remember that people can’t go back and reread something they missed. If they don’t get the point of a radio spot, the energy and money which went into producing it are gone forever.

You’ll find that you will easily get hired: most radio stations aren’t set up to write spots, and they love to farm them out to freelancers.

5. Ultra short copywriting with taglines and slogans

Most taglines or slogans are short: five to ten words long, and often a tagline will come to you as an inspiration.

I know one new copywriter who launched a whole career when he wrote a tagline for a store. The store owner loved the tagline so much he introduced the copywriter to the head of an advertising agency.

Journaling Helps You Clear Your Mind

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008
by Aazdak Alisimo

Throughout time, the famous and not so famous have kept journals. These journals were highly personalized and represented a glimpse into the daily lives and cumulative life of each and every person. Journaling still matters today for a variety of reasons.

With the rapid advances of computers and the web, we often forget that computers only became wide spread a few decades ago. Before that, people actually wrote everything down and journaling was a key part of that.

Perhaps the most famous of journal keepers was Anne Frank. Of Jewish faith, she and her family lived under constant threat from Nazi forces when said forces invaded the Netherlands and the family took extreme steps to hide from persecution.

Read Anne Frank’s Journals and you can’t help but be moved. Most people only look at it from their perspective as readers. If you step back, you can see how keeping these journals probably helped this young girl deal with the stress.

Thankfully, few people have as extreme a situation as Anne Frank. That doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from keeping a journal or diary much like she did. The fear of imminent capture isn’t necessary to find benefits from journaling.

The first benefit of journaling is simply keeping a record of your life. While we all think we have a sharp memory, can you really remember what you were doing even a year ago? I can’t. Reading back through a journal is often like reliving the period in question.

A journal is also an excellent means for developing a bit of perspective. In our hurly burly world, it is easy to get caught up in the events of the moment whether good or bad. Writing out your thoughts can calm you down and force you to think things through.

On the same note, a journal is also a great measuring stick for the importance of things. This is particularly true in bad times. When things go bad, it can be all doom and gloom. Reading through your past journal entries can give you some perspective and lighten the mood.

For some families, journals serve a functionary role in the history of the family. They are passed down from generation to generation and create a written record of your geneology. You don’t have to do this, but it makes for great reading over time.

by Angela Booth

If you’ve decided to start a copywriting services business, you’ll be wondering what kinds of services you can offer your clients.

Copywriters write many different kinds of business documents, usually to do with advertising and promotion.

Here are several kinds of copywriting services you could offer your clients:

1. Marketing and advertising copy

Advertising copy is advertising text in all its forms - both online and offline.

Many copywriters start their careers creating the text for brochures, and for print display and classified advertisements. Since all businesses need to create advertising, this is a lucrative form of copywriting.

2. Direct sales copy - someone has to write junk mail, it might as well be you

Direct response means exactly what it says: your words - in a sales letter, whether online or offline - will sell a product or service. Your words must sell. This is specialized copywriting, and highly lucrative, so many copywriters specialize in direct response.

You can practice your direct response copywriting skills writing for small local firms. As your skills grow, you will be hired by larger companies.

3. Internet copy - for Web sites and advertising

Web copywriting involves many different forms of copywriting, from simple text ads, to entire Web sites. As a Web copywriter, you’ll be tasked with writing material like blogs and ezines, and well as all forms of product advertising.

4. Public Relations copy - press releases and more

Public relations copywriters write material like company backgrounders, bios of company principals, and of course press campaigns. A public relations campaign for a company’s new offering can take months, so many PR copywriters are on retainer.

Since the Web has become more important to companies, writing press releases for the Web is an in-demand copywriting skill. You could specialize just in writing Web press releases, if you wish.

So there you have four broad areas in which you can offer your copywriting services, and build a large and lucrative copywriting practice.

E-books And Affiliate Programs

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008
by Jason McKinney

Some E-books combine very well with an affiliate program. When an affiliate receives some extra benefit from promoting your E-book, like being allowed to brand your E-book with his/her affiliate link, the affiliate will make money when a reader buys through their affiliate link. You will also benefit from the increased traffic to your website because the affiliate is promoting your site for you.

Be absolutely certain that your message includes a clear call to action. There shouldn’t be any doubt whatsoever about what you intend recipients to do. Make sure that the instructions are perfectly clear so that recipients know HOW to act. The action that you require should be simple and obvious as well. Don’t make things complicated or it will confuse the reader, such as by adding numerous links.

Remember the KISS principle (Keep It Simple Stupid). The incentive should be clear to those you want to take action. Readers will only look at your offering for roughly seven seconds before they move on. If it takes longer than that for them to figure out what you want them to do, they will simply move on. Don’t make your message difficult to understand. If you do, chances are pretty good you will lose them. You must respect you readers enough to express your message clearly and concisely.

Once you are sure that you have an E-book that would benefit from an affiliate program, approach the affiliates with your idea and be able to show them how it would be mutually beneficial.

Viral Marketing using E-books is one of several techniques that have a cumulative effect in attracting customers and subscribers to your business and in attracting targeted visitors to your site. You will soon find out that this is an excellent way of increasing sales, subscribers, and referrals.

Find “freebies” To Add To Your Ebook

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008
by Jason McKinney

Anyone who shops online regularly are familiar with the many free gifts, free bonuses, and other freebies that are offered to a person who visits a website to encourage them to buy something. How can you collect and offer free gifts that are valued at as much as the original merchandise that you are trying to sell? There are just three basic steps to follow and they are listed in this article.

1. Identify key words that pertain to each chapter of your E-book. Then type those words into your favorite search engine. You are going to be looking for free E-books on the same subject that are more in depth than your own, are written by a known expert in that niche, or by an author that gives a new angle on the keyword. You then add a link to the free E-book to each chapter of your E-book.

2. Now do some research on the internet and look for related free gifts. Now you are looking for things you could give as free gifts in your own Ebook. The goal here is to find something that will make your E-book more appealing and give it more viral appeal to your readers. For example: if you are selling gardening supplies, you would want to find a planting guide on the internet that can be downloaded and include that as a free gift in your own E-book.

3. Now for the final step, download the freebies. Visit the freebies pages on the web site you found earlier. Many sites offer freebies and encourage you to distribute them.

Some keywords you can search for are freebies, free E-books, and free reports. Then use the keyword that you are trying to find free things for. For example: “freebies for gardeners.”

Give your readers the very best that you can offer. Give them your E-book, more things on the same topic they can read, and free gifts to boot. Who doesn’t like a bargain?
